MAHLE has announced that post its acquisition of Behr Hella Service (BHS), all BHS activities have been transferred to MAHLE on January 1, 2020.

The company stated in a release that the new logistics centre in Wrocław, Poland is being filled at present. The venue will serve as the future hub for thermal management products for passenger cars, trucks, agricultural vehicles, and construction machines, allowing the company to decrease its delivery times, ensure a higher level of availability and address increasing volumes in a flexible manner. MAHLE notes that its other Aftermarket logistics centres in Germany, the U.K., Spain, France, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, the U.S.A., and China are currently equipped to fill orders.

MAHLE intends to strengthen its position, especially in the e-mobility market while it continues to expand its thermal management portfolio. The company recognizes thermal management as a primary prerequisite in the operation of electrically powered vehicles.

“The feedback from our customers in relation to the launch campaign has been extremely positive,” says Olaf Henning, Corporate Executive Vice President and General Manager MAHLE Aftermarket. “The workshops are aware of the challenges they face from the mobility transformation and the diversity of new technologies, and they are counting on us. We will support them by providing fast and reliable diagnostic and service solutions, information, and, of course, spare parts,” he adds.

MAHLE is extending its support to service providers for its new thermal management products by providing specific training. Additionally, its diagnostic tools and service equipment contain the required repair and maintenance information for easy reference. MAHLE is working to not only become a solutions provider but also a future-proof partner for the service shops.
