Symach has announced the development of its new UV-LEDTronic technology for drying UV coating products.

The company states that its new technology is more powerful in comparison to those currently available in the market. The UV-LEDtronic not only has a more than double drying speed but also consumes a modest amount of energy—just 90 W.

Symach’s new product features LEDs of different wavelengths that are assembled along a line of reflectors. They have been engineered for producing the fastest and most efficient drying result. The LEDs can be controlled with an electronic circuit board that contains a temperature control device (thermal protection). An aluminum support fitted with a specially designed heat sink has the LEDs installed in it. This feature allows the paint technician to use the lamp longer, enabling them to dry several car panels in sequence easily.

Symach is currently offering its UV-LEDtronic in a portable lamp version that has the capability of covering an area of 50 cm; or in the Flydry robotic version, available in a FlyDry Hybrid model with IR-Drytronic + UV-LEDtronic technology; or in a UV-LEDtronic-only version, FlyDry LEDtronic.

A demonstration of the technology is available in the video here.
